Webinar: Using a Virtual Center of Excellence (COE) Model to Strengthen TB Monitoring and Evaluation
Abstract: On March 21, 2023, the TB DIAH project and experts from Georgia’s National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and National Center for TB and Lung Disease (NCTLD), USAID/Georgia and USAID/Washington, and WHO/Europe hosted a webinar introducing the Center of Excellence (COE) for the Eastern Europe and Eurasia Region.
Attendees learned about the strategy and process for establishing a virtual COE; the process for implementing the COE in Georgia and regionally; local leadership’s role in the success and sustainability of the COE; and the significance of the COE in addressing challenges TB and beyond.
